Randy Brandt
Randy Brandt's interest in apologetics
goes back to his youth in rural Canada. He read his first book about creation
and evolution when he was about 10, and was introduced to philosophy by reading
Francis Schaeffer as a teen. Randy graduated with honors from
Christian Heritage College
in 1983, earning a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education/English. He has
taught high school English, Math, Geometry, History, Government/Economics, Computer
Programming and Apologetics (Senior Bible).
Randy has been married to Joanna
since 1983. They have five children ranging from high school age to 2nd grade.
Randy's non-academic hobbies mostly involve hockey. He plays ice hockey, coaches
roller hockey, and is a devoted Colorado Avalanche fan. Out of deference to
his wife, he ignores most other sports (with the exception of football, basketball
and baseball).
Randy is a member of USA Hockey and
the Society of Christian Philosophers and an associate member of the Evangelical Theological Society. He currently works for
"A Child's Touch..."
daycare and writes music reviews for Al Menconi Ministries.
